Reuben grew up in an environment where seeing prostitutes outside of his home, men throwing dice against the wall of the neighborhood liquor store, and selling drugs was the norm. He vowed to be different than his absent father and abusive stepfather only to find himself in the same position years later with his wife Gloria. Having five children between them, they fight to overcome the addictive drug of cocaine, hoping that the seeds they have planted don’t come to Harvest in their children.
